Vaping On College Campuses (Is CBD Allowed?)
For those of us who are currently in school, there might be questions surrounding our ability to vape CBD products on campus. Whether it’s to chill out before an exam or to take a quick break between classes, there are a lot of times throughout the day at a university to chill out. However, with vaping increasing in popularity with college students, educational institutions have had to include vapes with any tobacco ruling.
Every Campus Is Different
Every college has a different set of rules when it comes to both vaping and smoking. Whether a campus is vape/ smoke-free, or there are designated areas where students and faculty can use their e-cigs/real cigarettes.
According to the American Nonsmoker’s Rights Foundation, there are at least 1,886 college campuses prohibit vaping.
If you are currently in school, be sure to look up your campus’s rules pertaining to smoking. Even though smoking and vaping are entirely different things, most organizations have made the choice to have the same regulations in place for both.
What About Vaping CBD?
Unfortunately, if a campus has rules against vaping, that includes using our product. While the benefits of vaping CBD are becoming more apparent, we aren’t about to advise that we go against a college’s rules. Alternatively, going off campus to vape is another option. While it isn’t a glamorous option, it’s one that respects the regulations that we all pay thousands of dollars to follow.
As we have been in positions where we desperately need CBD as a part of a daily routine, but our campus has banned vaping, we recommend looking into other kinds of products. These include tinctures, isolates, and even edibles like cocoas and gummies. Our partners at Made By Hemp sell all of those options, which will give us our “fix” without breaking any rules.
